It all started on Friday when Alex and I got to spend the day together by having lunch from the Fresh Market and then headed to the movies to see Captain America. It was such a fun movie and now I can't wait to see the Avengers next week. After the movie, we went to Target and bought Phillip a special treat that he found waiting for him in his car seat when we picked him up. His surprise was a Captain America action figure and his very own Captain America shield. He was soooo excited and has slept with both ever since.
Saturday morning, we woke up to a whining baby girl and discovered that her first tooth was cutting through. Ouch is all I can say and to be quite honest, I would probably be a bit whiney myself. Can't believe how big our baby girl is getting--it's going way too fast.
While my mom was watching Ally, we took Phillip to the water park today and it was a blast. He was a little nervous about everything at first but quickly warmed up to it and became a water park pro. I was totally surprised when he asked to go down the big water slide over and over again. And of course, hated to leave and say goodbye to all that fun. We will definitely go back one day!
Busy weekend for our little family but so much fun!
