Family Time!!

We take one Saturday a month where we spend the entire day with the family just enjoying each other's company.  It usually turns into an adventure and this past Saturday was no exception.  Every morning, Phillip wakes us wanting to hug on his baby sister which is just adorable and she loves every minute of it.

We got the family ready and headed out the door to the Saturday Market in downtown Greenville and had to make a pitstop by Starbucks for a yummy treat.  We then took off for the mountains to spend the rest of the afternoon in a little bit cooler temperature (so we thought--humidity was beyond high).  We stopped by Skytop Apple Orchard and bought some apples to snack on and drove over to Brevard where we met up with Mama and Papa Hyman to eat dinner plus Phillip got to eat ice cream with his Papa.

Busy days make for cranky kids and we got to hear it from Ally all the way down the mountain.  Phillip slept until she woke him up and all he could do was look at her miserably.  I could imagine what was going through his mind; probably the same thing that was going through mine--please quit crying Ally!!!  But you know it wouldn't be a Hyman adventure without a little crankiness from at least one of us.  It was a good weekend and I cherish every moment I have with my family.
