New Year's Eve!!!

Today will always hold a special place in my heart!  13 years ago, Alex asked me to marry him after a much planned evening that basically didn't go the way he really wanted it to.  We had reservations to a restaurant that we both fell in love but it took over an hour to be seated because they overbooked themselves and when we finally was able to order, they had run out of some of our favorite items listed on the menu.  Since we were so late eating, we missed going downtown for the fireworks show but that's okay because the night ended magically when he got down on one knee and proposed!  One of the best parts was that we got to share the evening with two of our dearest friends, Chris and Jennifer Hand.  I'll never forget that moment and our special New Year's Eve!
