We ate at Dragon Den this weekend and here was my fortune, "Don't worry about the stock market; invest in family". I thought this would make for a great blog post. How true is that statement? These days people everywhere are consumed by what is happening economically in our country. Don't get me wrong, whenever I hear all the negativity around me, I do get a little scared but I have to remember to keep my trust in the Lord because He is the one that will get us through these times and He is the only One that knows what truly will happen. I can't control the future but God has given me a wonderful family and I want to enjoy every minute that I have being with them and building lasting memories for our children.
Today after our Sunday naps and eating dinner, we took the kids to Dairy Queen and got Phillip a M&M "Lizard" aka "Blizzard" and then we parked next door to Starbucks for a yummy coffee for both Alex and I. Ally was super happy when Alex slid the coffee in front of her (she's bound to be a coffee drinker--don't you think?)
It's such a special treat to go out as a family and spend quality time with each other. My investment is in my family!
