Buzz Lightyear Party!!

It was a huge weekend celebrating our son's 3rd birthday!  I can't believe it has already been 3 years since he was born.  Friday night (after dinner) we headed to Starbucks for Phillip's favorite--a vanilla bean shake then we sent him to bed to get a good night's sleep before his big day on Saturday.

The next morning he couldn't wait for his party to begin!  He was so excited and couldn't sit still.  We headed to the church to do a little decorating and waited on our family and his friends to arrive.  It was so much fun spending time with the family and watching all those kids play!  Phillip was a little shy when everyone sang, "Happy Birthday" to him and his friend Braylon helped him blow out his "Buzz" candle.  Then the main attraction showed up to wish Phillip a Happy Birthday:  Buzz Lightyear!!!  Everyone was shy at first but most of them warmed up to Buzz.  Phillip finally ran up to him and screamed out, "to infinity and beyond"!  He danced and played with the kids for a little bit--Phillip grinned from ear to ear the entire time!  It was a fun party!
