Counting Blessings-Week #2

I have the best job ever!

I'm kind of playing catch up on blogging this week so I'm a little late with my weekly post on counting my blessings.  I feel so blessed to have the job that I have been given.  I am able to share every day with my husband helping him capture memories for all our clients.  Over the past 12-13 years I have seen families grow and children change plus we have been able to share our family's moments.  The Phil Hyman Portraiture Family (we call our clients family) have watched Alex and I date, get married, and now have two children.  It's been such a great adventure!

Today, we photographed a cute, little 8 year old boy named Spires.  We have been photographing for the family for many years and his grandmother wanted something special of him at this age.  He was just adorable with his big blue eyes and dimples.  It didn't take long for us to break the ice with him at the beginning of the session when we asked him if he had a "girlfriend".  His face lit up and he said, "why, yes I do and she is a teenager."  It was so funny but the most hilarious part was when Alex was joking with him and was asking him about his girlfriend's name and what she looked like and Spires yelled out (trying to change the subject) with a big grin on his face, "I bet your girlfriend, Mr. Alex is ugly!"  Alex leaned over and told him, "well, my girlfriend is Miss Becky!"  You should have seen the look on Spire's bright, red face.  It was priceless and hilarious!!  Thank goodness it was at the end of the session because we all could not quit laughing.

Kids are just so much fun and will definitely keep you on your toes.  I am very blessed to have my job!
