Our Easter Day!

Today was great!  We started our morning giving Phillip his easter basket and then headed to church for a wonderful service.  After church, we went to "mama and papa's" house for lunch but first it was family picture time (which is always interesting with a 2 year old).  Lunch was yummy but Phillip was ready for the easter egg hunt.  With the help of his little cousin, he and she hunted and hunted until they found all their eggs.  They both had a blast and we had fun watching them.  

Even though Phillip loved the idea of getting gifts and most of all candy, he knew the "real" meaning of Easter.  In his words--the real meaning of Easter is, "Jesus!  Is Alive!"
